Helleborus × ericsmithii ‘Pirouette’

Lenten Rose

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.255.560

The Lenten Rose is an easy spring blooming perennial for the shady woodland garden. Plants produce bushy clumps of thick, leathery evergreen leaves. Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup-shaped blooms. This strain has pink buds that open to white flowers tinged pink, maturing to deeper pink. Foliage is blue-green. Site these where they will stay for many years, since the plants resent being disturbed. Trim the old leaves to the ground in late winter before the buds emerge, to allow the flowers maximum impact. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
