Echinacea ‘Fatal Attraction’

Coneflower

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.196.590

A wonderful selection from Netherlands garden guru Piet Oudolf. Plants are strong and bushy in habit, ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Large blooms have flat, non-droopy petals of deep magenta-purple around a dark cone, held on red stems. Flowering starts in midsummer and continues for weeks, especially if faded blooms are regularly removed. Coneflowers are sturdy and carefree perennials. Their blossoms are very attractive to butterflies. Seed heads are useful in dried arrangements. Excellent for cutting. USPP#18429, CPBRAF: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
