Dianthus Devon Cottage™ Ruby’s Tuesday

Devon Cottage Pinks

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.181.010

(=‘Valda Kitty’) Also known as Border Pinks. The Devon Cottage™ series of pinks are midsized in habit, offering fragrant blooms from spring right into the autumn, over a low mound of grassy blue-green leaves. This selection has fully double petals of bright ruby red. Great for borders or in containers. Deadhead regularly to encourage more buds to form. Clip back by half in early autumn. Attractive to butterflies. Plants require good drainage and are an excellent choice for hot dry sites or gravelly soils. Combines beautifully with other low alpine plants. Evergreen. Bred in England by Whetman Pinks. USPP#13872: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
