Campanula medium single mixture
Canterbury Bells |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.110.050
An old-fashioned biennial. At one time widely grown, these still deserve a place more often in modern gardens. Plants form a low rosette of green leaves in the first year. In the following summer, upright stems will bear loads of large dangling bells, including shades from white, through pink, rose, blue and lavender. Stems are superb for cutting. Allow some plants to self seed, which will produce another generation for future years. Slugs can sometimes cause trouble, be on the watch!
